Bulls: These players make the game exciting despite record
The Chicago Bulls have not started out the season as well as Jim Boylan would have hoped. It could be that he is part of the problem, but at least the team is exciting this year.
The Chicago Bulls started out this season playing against the New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets are not a good basketball team yet the team found themselves down early and could not catch up until the third quarter. At this point, the game was back and forth, but unfortunately, the team lost by one point.
This seems to be the motto of this team thus far this year. They either fall behind and catch up to lose, or they start out strong and fall flat on their faces to finish the game.
I would hope this has something to do with how young most of the players are on this team. I can guarantee that Jim Boylan’s lineups are not helping at times.
Three point guards in the game at one time? Not bringing the starters back in just to “establish” his bench. Why oh why are we allowing him to do these things? On the bright side, it does seem like players have bought into his defensive mentality. At least somewhat. There have been times when the team has shown flashes of defensive brilliance. Unfortunately, it does not last.
Despite the Bulls record at 3-6, the team has still been exciting to watch this year. I find myself wanting to watch more and more despite them breaking my heart most nights. It sounds like a bad relationship you just cannot quit for some reason. Maybe it is because the Bears and Blackhawks have been equally bad if not worse. Whatever the reason, I keep coming back for more.
I am intrigued by three players on the team right now and these three are who I find the most exciting to watch every night.
