Chicago Bears: 5 splash trades to explore at quarterback
By Ryan Heckman
Josh Rosen, Miami Dolphins
I have touched on the Josh Rosen subject recently, and even though I don’t believe he will ever be a great quarterback, I still think he’s worth taking a shot on.

My main reason is due to the fact that he’s still kind of a mystery. He’s had an extremely rough start to his pro career, being within two organizations that clearly needed help. Of course, his rookie season with the Arizona Cardinals ended with the team turning to Kliff Kingsbury who, in turn, decided on drafting Kyler Murray first overall this year.
Now with the Dolphins, Rosen has already been benched after having been told he’d be “the guy” for the rest of the season. Nope — it’s back to Ryan Fitzpatrick for Miami.
The kid was a first-round pick (like Trubisky — yes, I get it) and I still think he’s worth looking into. Whether it be purely as a backup to help push Trubisky or someone they look at getting involved in the quarterback competition next summer, Rosen would be an interesting addition.
What would it take to get Rosen? I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t offer Miami more than a fifth-rounder. That’s definitely a low-ball offer, but it’s all I would be comfortable with if I was Ryan Pace.
