The NFL trade deadline is just days away, and the Chicago Bears are the center of quarterback conversation.

The Chicago Bears are 3-3 in the best division in football. The Green Bay Packers (6-1) and Minnesota Vikings (5-2) jumped even further ahead of them within the NFC North after an ugly Week 7 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The Bears have many questions surrounding them at the moment. One would have thought that, after a bye week, head coach Matt Nagy would have his guys more ready than ever for a big game like that. Instead, they came out and embarrassed themselves against a Saints team without both Drew Brees and Alvin Kamara.

Heading into Week 8, the Bears will get ready to host the Los Angeles Chargers. If they don’t win this game, the season may as well be a lost cause. Los Angeles most definitely doesn’t look like the contender many thought they would have been this season. Both of these teams are at a crossroads. This is an enormous game.

This week is also big because the NFL trade deadline hits in less than a week — next Tuesday, October 29.

Some teams have already made a move this week. The New England Patriots became richer, trading for Atlanta Falcons wideout Mohamed Sanu.

Meanwhile, the NFC North saw a deal go down as well. The Detroit Lions traded locker room and fan favorite Quandre Diggs to the Seattle Seahawks, in a somewhat puzzling move.

With the Bears boasting what should be one of the league’s most fierce defenses, they have one big question mark right now — the quarterback position. Sure, Nagy needs to run the ball a lot more. But, Mitchell Trubisky has regressed — period.

Would Ryan Pace consider making a big-time move before the deadline? Moreover, would he consider making a move at the quarterback position? Let’s check out a few options he might have which would turn heads this coming week.
