The Chicago Bulls are projected to be better this season than last. Will their success be tied to Zach Lavine? Is Zach LaVine an All-Star or not quite?

Last season was the closest Zach LaVine has been to playing a full season for the Chicago Bulls.
Health has always been an issue for LaVine. If he is able to string a few seasons together where he remains healthy, maybe he will be able to change the way people view him.

The roster this season has been changed up slightly since last year. The starting roster is not much different. The only change is Tomas Satoransky projected to be the starting point guard.

Kris Dunn is now slotted as the backup and rookie Coby White is the third option. I honestly believe White overtakes Dunn as the number two point guard though.

Another addition to this team is Thaddeus Young. Young is slated to be the backup power forward to Lauri Markkanen. The bench for the Chicago Bulls is more talented this season and that alone could lead to the team making a playoff push. However, if the team is truly going to compete with the better teams in the Eastern Conference, LaVine and Markkanen must be the Bulls’ top players.

The offseason was full of rumors that the Chicago Bulls were willing to trade away LaVine if it meant bringing in the likes of Anthony Davis. Is that a sign that the Bulls themselves do not believe LaVine is an All-Star? Or is he an All-Star, but not a Super-Star? This is all based on the interpretation of the difference between how one defines the two terms.

Are we buying or selling that Zach LaVine is an All-Star?
