Eli Manning, Quarterback, New York Giants

This one is just hilarious.

Sure, Eli Manning‘s time as the New York Giants starting quarterback is over with. Daniel Jones has taken the reins and most are wondering if Manning is done in the NFL. However, there have been whispers about other quarterback-needy teams making calls to the Giants regarding Manning.

Whatever the Bears do, they cannot and will not make a move for Manning. I don’t care what you’ve read, heard or imagined in your mind. It is not going to happen.

Forget the fact that Manning is completely washed and offers zero value to an offense like Chicago’s. It’s not in the best interest of the Bears to bring him in, for any purpose.

Mitchell Trubisky will be back for the New Orleans Saints game, following the bye week. Chase Daniel is fine as the backup quarterback.

Case closed. No room for Manning, no need for Manning — no Manning, period.
