Trent Williams, Offensive Tackle, Washington Redskins

I bet Trent Williams is somewhere laughing at what’s happening with his Washington Redskins. He’s stated he will not play for the organization due to how they handled his medical situation and intends to keep his promise. While the Redskins have not given in just yet on trading the seven-time Pro Bowl selection, some wonder just how long that will last.

The team is winless heading into Week 6 and are just days removed from firing Jay Gruden as head coach. Rookie first-round pick Dwayne Haskins is still not yet ready to become the starter, and there’s even some discussion around whether or not everyone within the Redskins organization was sold on him in the first place.

Washington is a mess, and Williams might see his wish come true. If the Redskins could obtain a high pick for Williams, I’m sure they’d end up dealing the 31-year-old instead of letting this drag on further.

The Bears have seen less-than-stellar play from Charles Leno thus far, and both he and Bobby Massie are locked into multi-year deals. Chicago would probably have to trade either Leno or Massie along with a pick, in order to land Williams.
