Quarterback Nate Sudfeld, Philadelphia Eagles

Most people have seen the names Josh Rosen and Eli Manning thrown out there amongst rumors for quarterback-needy teams. However, one name that Bleacher Report mentioned on their recent list of players on the trade market that’s not being talked about as much is Nate Sudfeld.

The Eagles are carrying three quarterbacks due to the health concerns of starter Carson Wentz. They even lured Josh McCown out of retirement this year. With Wentz healthy and McCown locked in as the backup, Sudfeld could be reasonably dealt.

The Bears were forced to activate Tyler Bray as a backup last week in London. If, God forbid, Trubisky misses extensive time and Chase Daniel gets hurt or proves he can’t handle the job, Bray is not the guy you want to see leading this team.

Sudfeld has actually played fine in his limited time on the field for Philadelphia. He’s gone 20-for-25 for 156 yards with one touchdown and zero picks over a span of three career regular season games. If Chicago wants to acquire their backup of the future and solidify the depth at quarterback, Sudfeld wouldn’t be a bad option.
