Chicago Bears can make Jon Gruden look foolish in London

3. Keep the regret coming
Last year, Eddy Pineiro came to the Raiders as a successful college kicker out of the University of Florida. He was kicking well through camp, but due to a preseason injury, the Raiders had to shelve him for the rest of the season.
This past summer, the Bears yet again executed a deal with the Raiders, this time for Pineiro. In exchange for the young kicker, the Bears sent Oakland a seventh round pick.
I think it’s safe to say that, through four games, it’s already been worth it.
In Week 2, Pineiro announced his presence to the world while going 3-for-3 on field goals, including a game-winner he drilled from 53 yards. From that moment on, Bears fans knew they had a kicker.
On the season, Pineiro is 8-for-9 on field goals and 6-for-6 on extra points. His only miss came in primetime Week 3 against the Washington Redskins, where he was questionable to play that night with a leg injury. Pineiro suited up and kicked in pain, visibly grimacing after his attempts.
The Raiders have only seen Daniel Carlson attempt four field goals this year, making three of them, but he did miss from beyond 50 yards. Pineiro is 2-for-2 from beyond 50.
In London, Pineiro has the chance to remind Gruden of yet another mistake he made. Now that he’s a Bear, Pineiro’s career is taking off in a hurry.
