Chicago Bears’ Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky dislocated his left shoulder during Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Chicago Bears won the game but might have just dodged a bullet with Mitchell Trubisky’s injury.

After the Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings 16-6 on Sunday, the big question surrounding the team was about how long Mitchell Trubisky would be out due to injury. Matt Nagy kept telling reporters that he didn’t know how long and he didn’t think Trubisky’s injury was season-ending. It turns out Nagy was correct, Trubisky’s injury is not season-ending.

Just like last years’ shoulder injury, Trubisky has dislocated his shoulder, but this time slightly tore his labrum in the process, which won’t require surgery. The Bears have one game left before their bye week, which is very winnable without Mitchell Trubisky, against the Oakland Raiders. The only positive thing to take away from this injury is that it’s on Trubisky’s non-throwing shoulder, so he will come back sooner than if it was on his throwing shoulder.

If I am Matt Nagy, I bring up Tyler Bray from the practice squad to back up Chase Daniel and I take it one game at a time. If the injury was more serious, I would be insisting on signing a quarterback but if Trubisky is out only one-to-two weeks, it’s not necessary.

So Colin Kaepernick isn’t coming to Chicago, sorry to burst everyone’s bubble that doesn’t really follow football, but is still on this Colin Kaepernick is better than half of the NFL campaign.

Mitchell Trubisky will be back soon, but he is doubtful this week. Next week being their bye week gives Trubisky two weeks to heal up, which is best for his shoulder.

With Mitchell Trubisky’s injury not being long-term, the worries amongst Chicago Bears’ fans of how this could end the season is over. As long as Trubisky comes back when he is healthy and doesn’t re-injure his left shoulder, the team will be fine.

Many Bears’ fans, including myself, were very impressed and pleased on how well Daniel ran the offense Sunday. With Daniel coming in right away, it really shows how prepared he is to come into games when needed.

The people who are saying Chase Daniel is better than Trubisky are crazy. When Daniel is playing, Matt Nagy shortens the playbook and do what he is good at.

When Trubisky is playing, Nagy is trying new thing to see what his young quarterback can do. So for those that are saying Trubisky is bad, he is still learning an offense that is still very complicated, give him time.

The good news is Trubisky should be back after the bye week to face the New Orleans Saints. Hopefully the Bears can get past the Oakland Raiders this week and can close the chapter on this Trubisky injury for the rest of the season.

Matt Nagy is very cautious with injuries so I believe he wouldn’t put Trubisky out there on the field if he believed he was in danger of re-injuring his shoulder. That being said, when Trubisky is back, everything should go back to normal.

Next. Chicago Bears improve to 3-1, but lose big key in the process. dark

So with the injury not being as serious as everyone expected it to be, I think this team is still on track to get better every week, and Trubisky is ready to prove the doubters wrong every chance he gets.
