What did we see from the Chicago Bears quarterback against the Washington Redskins? How about a little bit of everything.

All eyes were on the Chicago Bears quarterback on Monday night as he took the field against the Washington Redskins in primetime. Let’s be candid — the Bears first two games from an offensive standpoint have been ugly.

They only managed to put three points on the board against the Green Bay Packers in the season opener and followed that up with only one touchdown last week against the Denver Broncos.

Fortunately, for them, they were able to come away with a 1-1 record, despite not doing anything on one side of the football. Of course, they benefitted from an elite defense who carried the team through those first two games, but Monday night provided an opportunity for Mitchell Trubisky to ‘get right’ against an absolutely dreadful Redskins defense.

In fact, prior to the game, we highlighted their weaknesses and identified this game as an opportunity for Mitch to get back into a bit of a rhythm. The Redskins defense is not only lacking talent at every level, but they have thus far this season, yielded a lot of yards and points to opposing offenses.

It was very encouraging to see the offense finally get a little traction and put some points on the board. While the defense got the scoring started with a pick-six from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, the offense put up 24 points on the night. So what did we see from Trubisky? A little good, bad, and some ugly.
