C. Chicago Blackhawks. Stan Mikita. 2. player. 94.

Stan Mikita is the No. 2 goal scorer in franchise history. He ranks in second place all time in goals with 541 in 1396 games. He is a Hockey Hall of Fame player for a reason because his offensive numbers are so extreme.

He was an NHL All-Star eight times, won the Hart Trophy and Lady Byng twice, and the Art Ross Trophy once. Leading the league in scoring four separate times is very cool and Makita was able to do that. He was also a member of the 1961 Stanley Cup champions. He was able to put the puck in the back of the net and help his team win in many ways.

Makita is third all time in power-play goals with 150, which is a lot. The man advantage meant that Makita became that much more dangerous. He was a playmaker first, as he had 926 assists and 1,467 points over 22 years as a Blackhawks forward.

He was on the team from 1958 to 1980, a truly incredible run. It was even more special knowing he was a solid contributor throughout his entire career up until his final year with the Blackhawks.

In 155 playoff games for the Hawks, he had 59 goals, so his scoring prowess did not go away when the games got tougher. He was an elite goal scorer no matter what the situation was and that is clear when you look over all of his career numbers.

The Blackhawks were lucky to have him and everybody who talks about Mikita claims that he was just as good of a person as he was a player. Guys who can put the puck in the net like Mikita don’t come around very often.
