Chicago Blackhawks. Jeremy Roenick. 5. player. 94. . C

Jeremy Roenick is one of the best pure goal scorers in NHL history. Anyone who scores over 500 in their career is in a class of their own and should be recognized as such. Roenick was also a fan favorite for not only his talent but his personality.

Roenick is one of the greatest players to never win a single Stanley Cup or an individual award. He did, however, have an amazing career and put in a lot of goals for the Blackhawks.

In 524 games for Chicago, he had 267 goals. That is a .51 goal per game average, which is third all-time in the history of the team. That means he scored a goal in every other game. That is impressive no matter what era you played in and Roenick played in an era where goalies started to figure it out.

Roenick didn’t get to play his whole career with Chicago, as he spent the second half of his career playing for the then-Phoenix Coyotes, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Los Angeles Kings and the San José Sharks.

It is a shame that he wasn’t able to be a member of the Blackhawks for longer, or he surely would be even higher on this list. His 108 power-play goals are fourth all time in team history, so he was surely able to produce in all aspects of the offensive game.

Roenick had eight playoff seasons with Chicago and he was great. In 82 playoff games, he had 35 goals. Those numbers are highlighted by the 1992 season when Roenick scored 12 goals in 18 games en route to the Stanley Cup Final. They were swept by Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr and the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Final, but Roenick was amazing in those playoffs.
