The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to be a good team once again this year, so how will they fare against the Pacific Division?

The Chicago Blackhawks have had a decade of dominance until the last two seasons. They missed the playoffs both times but over the last offseason, they have made some nice additions to their team in order to be a better team. They have made additions at forward, defense, and goalie so they should have some high expectations for this upcoming season.

They have core players like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Alex DeBrincat up front and guys like Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook on defense and Corey Crawford to split the net with Robin Lehner. There is a good mix of youth and veterans on the team so they should be well balanced. They believe they can be a playoff team and if everything goes right, that could happen. This season is going to be a lot of fun and everyone should be excited about what they might be able to do.

If they are going to be a good team, they are going to need to have a steady mix of wins against everyone. That includes the other Western Conference division on the west coast. The Pacific Division is a top-heavy division that is made up of some rough heavy teams. It is also the division that holds some of the best goalies in the league, and the best player in the world. It is a division that can be very difficult to play against so the Blackhawks are going to need to be prepared for them.
