Chicago Bears: Keys to victory against Packers

3. Run the offense through Allen Robinson once the running game is established
The Bears biggest asset in the passing game in 2019 will be wide receiver Allen Robinson. For a guy who spent all of 2018 getting back into game shape due to a torn ACL sustained in 2017, Robinson has had another full offseason to rehab and has looked healthy in training camp.
With no setbacks expected, Robinson will look to have a big 2019 season and make his first Pro Bowl since 2015. In training camp, one of the most noticeable things about the Bears offense was the improved chemistry between Robinson and third-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
All throughout 2018, Robinson showed flashes of how good he could really be, averaging 13.7 yards per reception. Since entering the NFL in 2014, he’s shown that he can be a guy who’s able to handle a high volume workload and not get worn down.
The Bears know how good Robinson can be. Additionally, for a guy of his size and athletic ability, Robinson has a legitimate chance to be a top ten receiver in the NFL in 2019. Since Robinson will be Trubisky’s main target in the passing game, it will be important to get Robinson in the first half.
If the Bears can do this, then the rest of passing game will have a chance to click. However, if not, it could become very tough to move the ball through the air and the Bears may have to rely on Trubisky’s mobility to create and extend plays in the passing game.
