The Chicago Bears had a major breakout in 2018 as a whole, but this young roster still has many young studs who have yet to reach their ceiling.

With an extremely difficult schedule, the Chicago Bears‘ record may not show a massive improvement from 2018 to 2019, but with another year of development under its belt, this young group is ready to contend for a Super Bowl. With a star-studded team already, it seems a bit too good to be true to claim that there are more superstar players on the way for the Bears. However, this idea is not as irrational as one may think.

The fact of the matter is that this roster is still very young and raw. These players are still meshing into the National Football League lifestyle, adjusting to much better competition, and even still developing physically. Every summer and season under their belt is crucial in getting to the promised land, and this summer is no different. This roster is ready to have just as many breakout stars this year as it did last year, and the Bears are sure to turn some heads yet again in 2019.

With this being said, this slideshow will rank the five Bears who are most likely to break out in the 2019 season. These breakout candidates could be the difference between an early exit in this year’s playoffs for the Monsters of the Midway or bringing the Lombardi Trophy back home to Chicago.
