1. The Bears will be better off with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Why not start off with such a tender, edgy subject such as the Adrian Amos topic? I’ll be the first to say that I truly did love watching Amos on the Bears. For the most part, he was a sure tackler and filled the gaps nicely in the run game.

The big miss with Amos, though, was his lack of takeaways. That’s where I think the Bears will appreciate having a guy like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who is known to be more of a risk-taker in that realm.

Look, the Bears’ front seven is loaded. They’re going to be just fine. You’ll see them pressure the quarterback plenty. It’ll be up to the secondary to make plays when given the opportunities, and Clinton-Dix should give the Bears an upgrade in that category.

This is all you need to know: Amos has three career interceptions. Clinton-Dix, meanwhile, has three separate seasons with a minimum of three interceptions.

That’s it. Period. That’s what this defense made a living on last year. It’s all about taking the ball away. If you do that, you win the game. Rarely will you find a team that wins the turnover battle but loses the game. This Bears defense is going to be the main reason for a Super Bowl run, and Clinton-Dix is more of a ball hawk than Amos. That’s what the unit needs.
