4. DE Roy Robertson-Harris vs. RT Chad Wheeler and RG Evan Brown

Over the last few years, one thing that the Bears have lacked is a consistent starter at the defensive end position opposite Akiem Hicks. In 2018, the Bears drafted  Bilal Nichols who the team has high expectations for in 2019. However, behind Nichols and Hicks, the question mark remains of who can step up behind the two.

This is where Roy Robertson-Harris comes into the equation. Should Nichols or Hicks go down with an injury, it’s Robertson-Harris who will need to step up and perform. Since it’s highly unlikely that Nichols and Hicks don’t play on Friday night, it will be important to monitor how Robertson-Harrs does.

One name that Robertson-Harris will end up facing is right tackle Chad Wheeler. Wheeler won’t even be a household name in the NFL in terms of being a quality offensive lineman but he has had his opportunities to start in regular-season games. Since entering the NFL is 2017, he’s started 19 games and has proven to be a good, but not great option as an offensive lineman.

The second guy that Robertson-Harris will likely end up facing is right guard Evan Brown, who’s a second-year player whom the Giants view as being a backup offensive lineman. Brown will be an interesting player to watch due to the fact that he can play anywhere on the interior offensive line, but has mostly played right guard or center.

Both of these players will allow for the Bears to see if Robertson-Harris can really be the third defensive end on the depth chart. If Robertson-Harris is really ready to emerge into a situational player for the Bears, then he should have no problem beating Brown and Wheeler on Friday night
