Chicago Bears Depth Chart: 5 players in danger of being cut

This was one of the more interesting groups on the depth chart, for me. First and foremost, John Franklin III might just make this roster as he is currently listed as the sixth corner on the team. Knowing his story and how hard he’s worked to get to this point, that’s fantastic.

Behind Kyle Fuller, the Bears list Buster Skrine and Duke Shelley — who both play slot cornerback. Behind Prince Amukamara are Kevin Toliver, Franklin and Clifton Duck.

Duck is one guy who has made some big plays in camp as of late. Fans are taking notice and so are the beat writers.

But, the guy missing from the depth chart is Sherrick McManis. In fact, McManis only appears on the third tier of safeties behind Deon Bush and DeAndre Houston-Carson.

The Bears might not keep five safeties; in fact I doubt they do. If that’s the case, McManis will be cut if everything were to hold up as it looks right now.
