4. For the love of George Halas, what is the plan at kicker?
No, seriously. What’s the plan?

If we’re being completely honest with ourselves, we all feel the same way about Eddy Pineiro and Elliot Fry. Fans are skeptical, worried, and some are doing whatever they can do to talk themselves into one of these guys if they truly are the only plan in place.
Personally, I’m waiting for a kicker like Mason Crosby or Chris Boswell to be part of their respective roster cuts. If either one of them are released, Pace has to scoop them up and make them part of the plan.
I really want to believe in a kid like Pineiro, especially looking at his track record. He clearly has a leg. He’s been accurate throughout his career. But, coming off an injury and going from college to the pros are two big factors.
Let’s say neither Crosby or Boswell (or any other veteran for that matter) get cut. Let’s also say that both Pineiro and Fry fail to impress over the course of training camp.
At that point, how are the Bears any better off without Cody Parkey?
I hate to put it that way, but it’s the God’s honest truth. I am more worried about the kicker position than I have been in quite a few years.
