With the Chicago Bears getting ready for training camp, it’s time to preview the quarterback position.

For the first time in forever, the Chicago Bears actually have an exciting quarterback room. As the Bears get ready to gear up for the 2019 season, quarterback will be the one position that could make or break this team, especially with the Bears expected to be Super Bowl

This year, the Bears will enter training camp with three main quarterbacks on the roster: Mitchell Trubisky, Chase Daniel, and Tyler Bray. One of the major things to note about the names mentioned is that all three were one the Bears roster in 2018, so the aspect of continuity definitely exists for the Bears.

While Trubisky was the starter, Daniel proved to be a capable backup. On the other hand, Bray was the leader of the scout team. One of the major reasons that the Bears brought in Daniel and Bray last offseason was due to their familiarity with Nagy’s offense.

All throughout 2018, the Bears, for the most part, had two guys (Trubisky and Daniel) dressed and ready for action on gameday. Towards the end of the season, the team cut Bray but brought him back.

Now that all three quarterbacks have had a full season to work together, the Bears are expecting big things from the quarterback room in 2019, specifically from Trubisky. As the Bears get ready to report to training camp soon, what are some things to watch for at the quarterback position? We’ll list some factors as we preview the quarterback position for 2019.
