Tier 3 Free Agents

Donovan Mitchell — Restricted

The Spider is one of the more well-rounded and exciting guards in basketball today. It is very difficult to see him leaving the Utah Jazz, especially because of his restricted label. The Jazz could (and should) match any offer he receives in two years.

Gordon Hayward — Unrestricted

Sure, he missed an entire season a season ago. But, Hayward is still one of the better two-way players in the league today. The Celtics should be able to make some noise with he, Walker, Tatum and Jaylen Brown over the next couple of years. But, by no means will they be able to pay all of them to stick around.

Rudy Gobert — Unrestricted

If the Bulls needed a different plan at center come 2021, Gobert might be at the top of their wish list. He is arguably the best defensive big man in the game over the past several seasons. The newly-crowned Defensive Player of the Year could be in for an even bigger pay day in a couple years.

Andre Drummond — Unrestricted

Speaking of big men, Drummond is a guy who isn’t talked about as much over the last couple of years. But, he and Blake Griffin have certainly combined to make a dynamic front court in Detroit.

De’Aaron Fox — Restricted

There is absolutely no way the Sacramento Kings allow De’Aaron Fox to walk away in two years. Also, if the Bulls still have a point guard problem by then, this front office has completely dropped the ball.
