Which Chicago Bears are under the most pressure to succeed in 2019?

The 2019 version of the Chicago Bears will enter the season with sky-high expectations. It has been a long time since there has been this kind of feeling around the franchise. However, it goes beyond expectations. It is more than that. It’s a feeling that this team is expected to do great things. It’s also a feeling that the team is set up for sustained success, rather than just a flash in the pan.

But while the team is built for the long haul, all eyes are on this year. After last year’s season finished in bitter disappointment, everything has been geared towards 2019. The team has attacked the offseason with the mindset of having unfinished business to take care of.

This was evident during the Bears 100 celebration when the Bears last championship team crossed paths with the current players who hope to reach similar heights. In fact, at least one player has aspirations of topping what the 1985 Bears did. Safety Eddie Jackson recently said during an interview “shout out to the ’85 Bears but we want to top everything they’ve done.”

That is an incredible goal to set, and it’s the mark of a team that is focused, confident, and on a mission. However, with great expectations can come great pressure to succeed. The Bears have officially become the hunted in the NFC North. So which players are under the most pressure entering 2019? We examine a few below.
