Chicago Bulls: Potential lineups thanks to free agency
By Ryan Heckman
Lining up big
Lastly, and yes I am laughing as I write this, I decided to look at how the Bulls would match up with a larger opposing lineup.
I know — against a larger lineup, the Bulls could easily go smaller and run right past them, but hang with me here.
Let’s just say the Bulls may also be in trouble. Maybe White and LaVine are in foul trouble or in need of a big rest. Maybe Chicago has some injuries that night. Or, maybe Boylen is out of his mind like I was when I wrote this lineup.
Nonetheless, here’s something fun:
PG: Satoransky
SG: Porter
SF: Markkanen
PF: Kornet
C: Carter
I will say this: The Bulls have some strong shooters in this lineup. Although it features three guys who stand around 7-feet tall, four of the five guys in this lineup can hit the three ball. Carter has even knocked down a handful in his day.
Again, I don’t see Boylen going this route often (if ever), but the point is this: The Bulls have a heck of a lot more versatility at all positions following this year’s free agent crop. They may not be All Star-ridden, but the Bulls are better than they were last summer. That is for certain.
