The Chicago Bulls will likely end up finding another point guard via free agency in a few days. The latest rumors connect a few names to Chicago.

In just three days, the NBA world will be turned upside down with the chaos that NBA free agency brings. The Chicago Bulls will enter that frenzy with approximately $23 million in cap space.

Already, we have seen a few players make some notable decisions. For example, Kevin Durant has declined his player option with the Golden State Warriors and will become an unrestricted free agent. His future will be one to watch, especially coming off an Achilles tear in the NBA Finals recently.

For the Bulls, it is always interesting to see what happens with free agents. We know that Chicago isn’t exactly the free agent hot spot over the last few seasons, so it’s typically more of a “take what you can get” period for the Bulls.

The latest headlines have mainly been centered around last week’s 2019 NBA Draft, where the Bulls were able to land former North Carolina point guard Coby White with the seventh overall selection. White figures to come in and either start immediately or see a free agent come in and start for a little while — at least that’s my take.

The organization still maintains the notion that Kris Dunn can have a role with the team, but most of us wonder just how long that idea will last. I don’t see Dunn with the team much longer, and free agency could impact his tenure in Chicago.

Recently, there was a report out of the Chicago Sun Times which stated a couple of guys who are on the Bulls’ radar when it comes to the point guard position. Bleacher Report included that report in another piece they recently wrote about others involved in the Bulls’ free agency plans.

As for the rest of the free agent point guards connected to the Bulls, let’s take a look at who they are and how they would fit with the team, beginning with one who remains “on the radar” in Chicago.
