One blockbuster trade has already gone down prior to the 2019 NBA Draft. Could the Chicago Bulls pull one off to move up from the no. 7 spot?

It is officially draft week in the NBA. This is one of the leagues where things end and begin so quickly, and fans should all relish in that fact. The 2019 NBA Finals are over, but just a week later, the 2019 NBA Draft takes center stage. Finally, the Chicago Bulls and their fan base have something to get excited about.

It seems as though the offseason has already taken a toll. It’s seemed long — a little longer than usual. That could be due to the surprising fact that these playoffs were some of the best we have seen in a while, and looking back, it feels as though the Bulls haven’t played in several months.

With the draft coming up quickly, the Bulls have found themselves amongst several rumors and storylines. The big one happened prior to the Los Angeles Lakers acquiring Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. Chicago was said to be a potential third team involved in that deal, which ended up only going down between the two clubs.

The Bulls were also involved in a report out of The Athletic which stated that there was a growing feeling around the league that everyone except Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter were available via trade.

With that said, we now turn our attention to other transactions which the Bulls could make prior to draft night. First, let’s tackle a few that could see the Bulls move up from the seventh spot. I’ll warn you, though: The cost won’t be pretty.
