Chicago Bears: 3 reasons Mitchell Trubisky will breakout in 2019
Some pundits are down on the Chicago Bears quarterback, but there are a number of reasons you shouldn’t worry.
The Chicago Bears haven’t even broken from minicamp before heading out for five weeks of summer break, and the pundits are already out in full force to throw shade at their quarterback.
If there is a more polarizing quarterback in the league, I’m not aware of who it would be. Prognosticators seem to want to hold against him the fact that Ryan Pace moved up to draft him, by heaping somewhat unreasonable expectations on the young signal-caller. If not unreasonable expectations, then they certainly are not evaluating him in context which is as a quarterback entering his third year in the NFL, in his second year of a new offense with, having only started on year at the University of North Carolina.
Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped many in the media from pushing their narratives and agenda with the fervor of a rabid dog. While they won’t be mentioned here, the usual suspects of “Mitch-haters” will have to eat a tremendous amount of humble pie if Trubisky has the kind of third-year that most within the organization and those who know him well expect him to have.
