Chicago White Sox: Who should make the all-star team?
3. Tim Anderson
Tim Anderson might be the biggest surprise amongst the White Sox hitters so far in 2019. We expected him to turn into a great player but he is looking like he might be a superstar. He also has an attitude that he wants to make baseball more fun and entertaining for the fans which has earned him some extra attention.
He has been an elite shortstop for the White Sox this season so far. He has eight home runs, 13 stolen bases, 25 RBIs, and a slash line of .337/.369/.506. It has been an incredible start for him and he absolutely deserves to be an all-star. He might also have been good enough to be in the starting lineup for the American League All-Stars. His .337 batting average leads all hitters in the entire American League, and only two other National Leaguers have a higher average.
There is no doubt Anderson will get consideration because he has simply been one of the best players in the entire league so far this season. He has emerged as a lock to be a part of the White Sox core for the long haul and hopefully, the MLB recognizes him for being as good as he has been.
