The Chicago White Sox are not a playoff contender quite yet, but they are a team with more than one player worthy of an all-star game nod.

The Chicago White Sox are not a bad baseball team like they were in the first two years of their rebuild but they aren’t winning the World Series this season either. But this season has been a step in the right direction. They are going to have a much better record in 2019 than they did in 2017 or 2018. They might even have a close record to that of 2016 when they were actually trying to win.

Some proof that they are going in the right direction, is that they have some guys who are real contenders to be a part of the 2019 MLB All-Star Game. The best part of it is three of the four guys are young players who will be part of the core that helps this team for many years to come. The White Sox have been a team that has only sent one or two guys over the last few seasons, but this year there is a real chance that four players from this team make the squad and be impact players in the actual game.

If the White Sox can continually send these guys to the All-Star Game that means that they are getting better to the point where Major League Baseball is recognizing them for it. If you look at all of the elite teams around baseball, they all send multiple impact players to the summer classic. This could be one of the more fun All-Star Games for White Sox fans that they have seen in recent years. Here are the top four players that are worthy of the nod:
