Continuing our series in looking at the league’s free agents for the Chicago Bulls, we now look at the Philadelphia 76ers.

What a brutal way for a season to end. The city of Philadelphia has to be heartbroken over seeing their Sixers bounced out of the playoffs — pun fully intended — by Kawhi Leonard’s game-winning, last-second shot at the end of Game 7. The Chicago Bulls aren’t familiar with such heartbreak, but you better believe the city of Chicago is.

It is quite funny how the Philadelphia Eagles knocked the Chicago Bears out of the playoffs this year, thanks to the “double-doink,” yet their NBA franchise got sent home thanks to the now-dubbed “quadruple-doink.”

I won’t spend too much time poking fun at the subject, but you have to admit, the irony is pretty hilarious. Stop rolling your eyes — it’s funny.

The Sixers have an interesting group of talent on their roster, and you’d have to believe if they somehow put it all together, they would be the clear-cut favorite in the Eastern Conference. That, however, is one gigantic “if.”

For starters, free agency must be kind to the Sixers. Star swingman Jimmy Butler has a player option this summer, and Philly could be waving goodbye after not even a full season of his services.

Aside from Butler, though, the Sixers have a few other guys whom could interest teams on the free agent market. It is mainly their depth which could get decimated via free agency. Let’s look at some of their free agents and which might be options for Chicago this summer.
