Continuing to preview free agency for the Chicago Bulls, we now turn our attention to the Boston Celtics’ group of free agents.

The NBA offseason brings a lot of questions for most teams. For the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics, however, there are some stark differences. The Celtics, on one hand, are coming off another playoff run that ended once they saw the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls and their fans, on the other hand, knew what this season was going to be — a dud. And it was.

When it comes to the offseason, though, the Celtics are facing a much different summer than the Bulls. Chicago knows they have their core locked down for the foreseeable future in Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter. Now, it’s all up to them to add depth and potentially switch up the point guard position.

On the flip side, Boston’s team could look much different going into next season. For starters, Kyrie Irving has that all-important player option this summer. Most believe he has his sights set on teaming up with another superstar — and it won’t be in Boston. Cough, New York, cough.

The Celtics could also end up losing Al Horford for the same reason. If both of those guys opt-out, Boston loses two key starters and could end up falling quite a bit when it comes to the Eastern Conference hierarchy.

Boston also has a few other players they could end up losing, depending on how free agency shakes out. A handful of those players are worth a look, if you’re the Bulls front office. Who are they? Let’s dive into four potential free agent adds from the Celtics.
