Adrian Amos – S, Packers (Euron Greyjoy)

Euron Greyjoy is the younger brother of Balon Greyjoy. He is a very ambitious character who is not afraid to murder his own family to achieve his goals. He claims he should be the King of the Iron Islands and thinks he deserves more.

He differs at this point in the story from Balon in that Euron still sails and raids. There is clearly a decent age gap between the two. Euron is very arrogant and deceitful. He does not care who stands in his way. When he wants something, he just goes and takes it. Anyone willing to hunt down and murder his own family without just cause other than ambition can be viewed as a traitor.

As Bears fans, we all know too well how that feels this offseason. Adrian Amos and Ryan Pace were unable to make a contract work. We will never know the dealings that took place behind closed doors, but Amos was clearly not happy with the negotiations. He obviously valued himself more than Pace could afford. There is nothing wrong with that, but his next move?

Amos turned his back on his family (the Chicago Bears) and went north to play for the Green Bay Packers. I know money is the reason he went there, but with some of his tweets and the grumblings that took place, one cannot help but think of him as a traitor. This alone makes Euron Greyjoy the perfect comparable for Adrian Amos.
