3. Style

Ah, yes. The most notable thing in Anderson’s game this season that might not have been as present in seasons past. His style.

Anderson has always been a flashy player. He’s always had a knack for making spectacular plays. However this season, Anderson has done all of that times a thousand.

Every play Anderson makes is exciting. Every base knock he slugs is pimped. Every base he steals is smooth. Anderson is becoming one of the most fun players to watch in all of Major League Baseball.

Have I mentioned Anderson’s emotion? In his first two full seasons with the White Sox, Anderson typically kept his emotions in check. This season? Anderson is one of the most exertive players in the league.

Whether it be his two massive bat flips against the Royals and Tigers, his routine of pumping up his teammates after big hits, or his pure emotion after making big plays on defense, Tim Anderson has finally come out of his shell in 2019, and it is a glorious thing to watch.

Things aren’t always great on the South Side when it comes to the White Sox. This is a team that hasn’t been over .500 since 2012 and hasn’t made the playoffs since 2008. However, what the White Sox have clearly been missing in years past is a player that will bring the same energy, leadership, and emotion for all 162 games, through the ups and the downs.

Next. White Sox: Luis Robert needs to become a star. dark

Through his on-field production, off-field leadership, and emotion, Tim Anderson has proven himself to be the White Sox biggest star in the early portion of the 2019 season. While his long-term production is yet to be seen, Anderson has done everything possible to get across one message: Tim Anderson has arrived.
