Others Worth Mentioning

There are definitely other players the Bears should be excited about landing on Day 3. Even in Round 4, names like Jalen Jelks, Maxx Crosby and Shareef Miller would be worth taking at the outside linebacker position.

The offensive line is obviously an area to look into as well. Alex Bars is a player I have mentioned many times already. However, they could look at taking Michael Jordan (no not the basketball player or the actor), Dru Samia, or Phil Haynes. Any of these guys this late could fill a great need of depth on the offensive line.

Most of the tight ends worth looking at are off the board. However, if one of Alize Mack, Dax Raymond or Kaden Smith fall to Round 6 for the Bears, they would be solid options to consider. None of them will wow you, but they have some upside. I’d prefer Mack as a guy who could become a contributor out of this bunch and possibly take over if Shaheen turns out to be a bust.

Only one corner remains that I would take in Round 4 and that is Julian Love. He honestly should not be available right now, but corner was somewhat deep this season. Outside of Love though, no one stands out as worth taking until possibly their Round 6 selection.

Finally, with the seventh round picks, the Bears could always bring in a fourth kicker. Here I would take Matt Gay over Cole Tracy, but either one makes sense. That wraps it up. Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Draft will hopefully be an exciting one Bears fans.
