2. Kane Reaches 100 Points

Patrick Kane is one of the best Blackhawks to ever live and he is also one of the greatest American born players to ever live. Yet he still does things to surprise us. He already had a 100 point season under his belt, but that was helped out by having another elite offensive player on his line in Artemi Panarin. This year without Panarin, he added another 100 point season to his resume.

It came on March 18th, 2019 in Chicago on a power play goal by Jonathan Toews against the Vancouver Canucks. This was another incredible moment for a guy who has done it all. Kane’s 100th point came at a time of the season when going to the playoffs was starting to look bleak again. It was a reason to be excited about something that came out of this year. Patrick Kane is truly a fan favorite and everybody loves seeing him amongst the best in the league.

Kane ended the season with 44 goals and 66 points for 110 points. The 100 point mark was just a milestone in another fantastic year by Kane. Those 110 points were good enough to be third in the entire NHL in scoring, only trailing Nikita Kucherov and Connor McDavid. Kane now has 938 points in 903 games played so next year, reaching 1000 points is a real possibility. Another outstanding season from Kane makes that a possibility.

Anytime something big happens with Kane will make top moments going forward as he cements his legacy. He can retire today and be a first ballot Hall of Fame player so the fact that he has many more years left leaves the possibilities endless.
