Texas Tech Red Raiders: Jarrett Culver

Considering the fact that the Bulls likely won’t get their hands on one of Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett, or Ja Morant, and the Bulls and their fans should be looking into the next best option in the top five of the draft.

On one of the best teams in the country, Texas Tech sophomore forward Jarrett Culver might just be the best fit for the Bulls in the draft.

The Big 12 Player of the Year, Culver has been projected to go to the Bulls in several recent mock drafts. The sophomore forward is one of the best pure scorers in the country, and is also one of the best defenders in the entire field, and is a great teammate.

Culver has led a thin Red Raiders team to the top of the College Basketball world, uplifting lesser-talented teammates to play at the best level possible.

On a pretty thin Bulls team, that very quality in Culver would bode very, very well for the Bulls. In addition, Culvers’ spectacular shooting ability would make him a great fit on the Bulls, and his defense would bring an asset to the table that the Bulls have a serious lack of.

Finally, Culver might not be one of the brand name prospects that Bulls fans would want, but he still is an elite talent, and might just be the final piece of the puzzle of the Bulls young core. Culvers’ scoring, defense, and play-making ability as an individual and a teammate could make him the best fit in the draft for the Bulls, regardless of where they’re picking.

Culvers’ stardom will be on full display, as his Red Raiders look to advance to the Elite Eight on Thursday, and his role as the primary ball-handler will make him the center of attention on one of the best teams in the country.
