One of the fastest risers among running backs in this year’s draft, over the past couple of months, has been Miles Sanders out of Penn State. By now, most Bears fans who are active on Twitter know what this guy is about.
Sanders is a do-it-all back who possesses great vision and footwork. He’s a patient runner who not only allows his blockers to do their job, but can also get down field on his own if need be. He creates for himself in space.
In Nagy’s offense, you have to be able to catch the ball and Sanders can certainly do that. Because of his ability to make plays by himself, this makes him lethal after the catch. He’s phenomenal at getting down field no matter the cost, and always ends up gaining rather than losing. His feet continue to chug along and his leg strength is proven to move piles.
Out of all players potentially falling to the third round, Sanders is the one guy the Bears cannot pass up. Next to Tarik Cohen, he would be the absolute perfect compliment. The Bears’ back field would be loaded, and primed for a Super Bowl run.
