March Madness is officially here. Fans of the Chicago Bulls should have a blast watching these players in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

As a Chicago Bulls fan, it’s tough not to be more excited about the 2019 NCAA Tournament than I am watching the Bulls. This season will be yet another one to forget in Chicago, as it has been quite the rollercoaster ride.

By now, most should know the short of the story. The Bulls came out flat this year, and fired Fred Hoiberg pretty early on. Following the firing, Jim Boylen was promoted and almost immediately things got a little tense. Boylen’s coaching style is much different than Hoiberg’s, so the players had to make it through what was an initial wake-up call following the transition.

Boylen is tough. He’s borderline crazy sometimes, but as the season has wore on, he’s proven he cares about his guys. It hasn’t always been peaches and cream, but the locker room is starting to come around on Boylen — something I never thought I’d see a few months back.

Now, the Bulls have actually shown they can win games under Boylen. They’ve still suffered some ugly losses, but Chicago has put up much more of a fight under Boylen than they did for Hoiberg earlier this year.

Right now, the Bulls still sit at the fourth-worst record in the NBA. It is almost a lock that they’ll finish at their current spot or worse in terms of overall record. But, it’s no guarantee they will snag the no. 4 overall pick in this year’s draft.

Depending on where they end up drafting, the Bulls could either wind up with a generational talent or another very good player without superstar potential. Now that March Madness is here, it’s time for Bulls fans to start paying closer attention to the collegiate level. This year’s tournament features a lot of fun players to watch, and the odds are, one of the following guys could be playing in Chicago next season.
