The first wave of free agency is in full swing, and the Chicago Bears have already added some notable names. Who else could be brought in?

It’s only March, but the NFL is heating up. With the 2019 free agency period rolling on, teams are adding and subtracting left and right. The Chicago Bears have made their fair share of moves to kick off this portion of the offseason.

First, Chicago agreed to terms with running back Mike Davis, who spent the last two years with the Seattle Seahawks. Davis comes in as the likely third running back in terms of depth, but should see a decent amount of snaps due to his versatility on the ground and in the passing game.

Next, the Bears agreed with nickel corner Buster Skrine, who came by way of the New York Jets. This, of course, signals the end of the Bryce Callahan stint in Chicago — at least, we think.

Following the Skrine signing, the Bears brought in an all-time great who is still in his prime. Kick returner and offensive Swiss Army knife Cordarrelle Patterson wanted to come to Chicago to be part of what Matt Nagy has built in that locker room.

Then, the Bears found their replacement for Adrian Amos. Ironically enough, it was an ex-Green Bay Packers Pro Bowler in Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Having more money on the table elsewhere, Clinton-Dix decided he’d much rather team up with the elite defense in Chicago and take less cash doing so.

Now, I wouldn’t put it past Ryan Pace to make one or two more significant moves. After all, he did clear ample cap space earlier in the week when he moved around some money within the contracts of Khalil Mack and Eddie Goldman. Who is still available, and who are people not talking about at the moment? Let’s look at some of those guys.
