As the Chicago Bears offseason continues, the team is adding depth pieces to the roster. However, what are some under the radar players the Bears could sign on offense?

Over the last few days, we’ve seen the Chicago Bears add tons of talent to the roster. Considering the Bears are likely to not spend big money this year, the team will look at multiple free agents once the market has calmed down.

Although the Bears have signed Buster Skrine, Mike Davis, Cordarrelle Patterson, Ted Larsen, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix so far, the Bears can still add talent to the roster. While most think that free agency is over once the major names on the NFL’s open market have signed, the second wave of free agency cannot be overlooked.

Typically, the second wave of free agency is the perfect place to find some hidden gems. the group mainly consists of veterans in their late 20s or even early 30s that are looking for a chance to get their careers back on track.

A major advantage of the second wave of free agency is the fact that the Bears can sign any player they’d like to a one-year, prove it deal. Last year, a player the Bears did this with was Aaron Lynch. The result? Lynch would notch three sacks and eight quarterback hits. Those may not be eye-popping numbers, but Lynch did play better than his numbers suggested.

The second wave of free agency also provides teams an opportunity to add talent to their roster before the draft. If the Bears can find one or two quality free agents, it will go a long way towards allowing the Bears to not have to spend extra draft picks at certain positions.

As the offseason continues, what are some quality under the radar players on offense the Bears should look at? Today, we’ll examine those.
