As the 2019 NFL Combine gets underway, we look at some of the guys who would fit well with the Chicago Bears, and within their draft capital.

It is officially NFL Draft season, folks. The 2019 NFL Combine kicks off this week, with drills beginning on Friday March 1.

For fans of the Chicago Bears, the combine may not be the most exciting week of the year, compared to previous years. The Bears do not have a draft pick within the first two rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft, but they still possess five selections beginning in Round 3.

This year, the Bears will have picks in the third, fourth, fifth and seventh rounds — two of those selections coming in the final round of the draft. General manager Ryan Pace has proven time and time again that he knows how to find talent deeper into the draft, and this year especially, he’ll have to do it again.

Fortunately, this isn’t a team with many glaring holes like it was a year ago. 2018 was the year which defined righting the ship, when Pace and first-year head coach Matt Nagy had to completely turn the roster over in a matter of one offseason.

Now, the Bears are a legitimate Super Bowl contender going into the 2019 season. The first step towards achieving a championship begins with evaluating the top college talent this week. From weigh-ins to the final whistle, these kids could seriously alter their draft stock at the 2019 NFL Combine.

For the Bears, there aren’t a lot of spots to fill on this roster — at least, nothing specifically pertinent. Heading into the combine, though, there are some intriguing names for the Bears to consider. Who are they, and where in this draft could they be selected? Let’s get to it.
