As the season rolls on, it is more apparent that the Chicago Bulls could move on from Kris Dunn. Fortunately, some draft prospects are rising.

This season has been one of the most entertaining years I can remember for the Chicago Bulls. No, not because they’re any good. Obviously, this team is terrible.

Actually, let me rephrase that: This team is led by an incapable head coach who has no business being in his current position. There, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s move on.

Other than Jim Boylen and the mess he’s made, the team has undergone a facelift over the last couple of months, which has been the main talk around the team. Trading away Justin Holiday, Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker was inevitable, it felt. The front office is committing to the rebuild more than ever before.

It’s unfortunate for guys like Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr., because they’re all talented players who deserve to win basketball games. But, the lack of talent around them has the Bulls spiraling towards a top lottery pick.

As it stands, the Bulls have the fourth-worst record in the NBA. But, that could change quickly. Only three games separate the bottom four teams in the league. Now, of course the final lottery settles it once and for all. The Bulls could end up with the first overall pick, regardless of whether or not they finish with the worst record.

Depending on where they select in the first round, and also taking into consideration their second-round activity, I think the Bulls will focus in on the point guard position. It’s tough to see Kris Dunn lasting past this season with how non-committal the front office has been, and how he doesn’t seem to fit the type of offense surrounding him.

The good news is, there are some intriguing options in this year’s NBA Draft and some of these guys are rising up draft boards. Let’s take a look at a few the Bulls could go after this summer.
