Chicago Bears: 5 under-the-radar free agent wide receivers

Phillip Dorsett
It is actually kind of ironic that I threw Phillip Dorsett’s name in here, because I have seen some fans speculate over whether the Patriots would take a flier on Kevin White. Some have gone so far as to predict White blowing up with New England if he signs there.
The crazy thing is, I wouldn’t doubt it, should he sign there.
Anyway, Dorsett came to the Patriots by way of trade in 2017, after two ho-hum seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. Coming out of Miami, he was a first-round pick with a bunch of upside.
In the end, that’s all it ended up being — upside. Dorsett never panned out how a first-rounder should, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad player. In fact, I think he’d be a great addition to a Matt Nagy offense which loves to feature speed.
Over his four-year career, Dorsett has caught 95 passes for 1,237 yards and six touchdowns. Coming from a history of playing with guys like Andrew Luck and Tom Brady, you’d have to believe his knowledge and character would fit right in with what the Bears have going right now.
