Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock… That’s the sound of the NBA Trade Deadline clock, and the Chicago Bulls have less than a week to make their move.

More exciting than any other #TradeSZN in major sports, the NBA’s is usually nothing short of intrigue. With Anthony Davis recently making it perfectly clear he wants out of The Big Easy and with plenty of teams (including the Chicago Bulls) keeping tabs on that situation, it seems we’ve only just begun.

Chicago was amongst the first teams to strike a major deal last season (Nikola Mirotic) and they were amongst the first this year with the Justin Holiday move (or should I say ‘fleecing’?).

They weren’t the first ones to make a true blockbuster move. That distinction surely belongs to the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks, the lone parties in Thursday’s Kristaps Porzingis stunner of a deal. While the Bulls won’t be dealing away any of their valuable names, they’ve been rumored to be dumping off several contracts for some time.

Because of all the fanfare surrounding the Bulls’ front office and their players (the good, bad, and laughable), there’s been plenty of speculation. From a failed free agent signing to expiring contracts, they have it all. In some respects, this team has been entertaining. At the very least, they have provided a number of things for fans to discuss at the water-cooler, even if the vast majority of them have been negative.

Who gets the boot, who gets to stay, and who gets bought out? This is a bold predictions trade deadline slideshow, and that’s the name of the game. Without further ado, let’s start with the usual suspects.
