Defensive End Chris Long

Chris Long has been there and done that. He’s played on the biggest stage. He’s won on the biggest stage. At this point, the 34-year-old has to be thinking about teaming up with his brother Kyle Long.

For Long to come to the Bears, he would have little pressure of being a full-time guy. Sure, the Bears don’t have a surefire stud to start opposite of Akiem Hicks, but they’ve shuffled around a few guys to make it work. Long would be a perfect player to add into the rotation.

The Bears are within a Super Bowl window, and free agents have to know it. Long has been in the big game with both the New England Patriots and the Eagles. Why not give it a shot with a third team? That would be quite the feat.

Over his 11-year NFL career, Long has accumulated 70.0 sacks, playing for the (then) St. Louis Rams, Patriots and Eagles. I think it would be a perfect ending to a phenomenal career to come on over to Chicago, join his brother Kyle, and make one more run at a Super Bowl title.
