The Chicago Bears Wild Card Round matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles is just days away. Let’s take a look at the three biggest matchups for the Bears against the Eagles.

Ok Chicago Bears fans, celebration time is over.

After the Bears finished off their 12-4 season with a dominating win over the Minnesota Vikings, they were locked into the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs, and are now slated to host the No. 6 seeded Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears had little time to celebrate, as it was right back to preparation and practice on Monday for the Bears biggest game in eight years.

Sure, the Bears are favored against the Eagles, but this game is by no means an easy win. The Eagles are the reigning Super Bowl champions, and despite having several injuries, are just as dangerous as last season.

The Bears will have to be just as much of a force on defense on Sunday as they have been all season if they want a chance at dethroning the Eagles.

Additionally, the offense will need to perform as expected, if not better. We’ll get to the key matchups later on, but as always, all three facets of the game (offense, defense, special teams) will need to be spot on for the Bears in order for them to advance. They can’t afford to have a letdown in any of the three phases, as mistakes in the playoffs are magnified.

If the Bears want any chance at the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday, they absolutely need to win the following three matchups. If not, we’ll be talking about “next year” on Monday.
