Best (realistic) matchup: Minnesota Vikings
There are many different matchup scenarios for the Bears, and it’s nice that they have at least some control over which team they may face. I’m curious to see Nagy’s approach to influencing who his team will play in the playoffs.
It’s the NFL Playoffs, so all of these matchups will be tough games for the Bears. Obviously, a first-round bye with a home game in the second round is the most desirable outcome. But if that doesn’t happen I think a matchup with the Vikings could be the best path for the Bears.
Chicago would be a 3.5-point home favorite vs Minnesota in the playoffs and a 5.5-point favorite vs Philadelphia, per @SuperBookUSA. So, Vegas thinks the Bears would be better off playing to win Sunday and taking their chances with the Eagles next weekend.

While it would be the third matchup of the two teams this season, the Bears could theoretically hand the Vikings a playoff spot by resting all their starters and running a vanilla gameplan.
As long as the Seahawks avoid being upset and cement their spot as the No. 5 seed it will ensure this matchup. The strategy of pulling starters also gives the Vikings no additional film of their defense facing off against the Bears this season.
That plan could come back to bite them, but I feel it’s better than facing the Eagles. That team seems to be clicking again under the guidance of reigning Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. It will be an interesting Sunday for Bears fans, so stay tuned to Da Windy City for more coverage.
