Chicago Bears: A Super Bowl LIII win

Who would’ve thought that on Christmas Eve 2018, we’d be talking about asking for a Super Bowl victory for the Chicago Bears.

Its true, the Bears have come a long, long way from last season.

First-year head coach Matt Nagy has completely reformed the franchise on and off the field. From three primetime victories (including two on Sunday Night Football), to five Pro-Bowlers, to a Week 15 clinching of the NFC North Division, all the way to “Club Dub” after each of the team’s eleven wins and counting, this is a completely different Chicago Bears team than we’ve been accustomed to in the past few years.

And now because of that, its time to dream big. Could we ask for a first-round bye in the playoffs? Sure.

Could we ask for a playoff win? Maybe.

Those are two things that are both realistic, and a tad bit unfulfilling. Thats why the Chicago Bears Christmas wish is to win Super Bowl LIII.

The Bears are built for this. With arguably the top defense in the league, a steady offense and impeccable team chemistry, the Chicago Bears are a bonafide Super Bowl contender for the first time in a long time.

However, it certainly is easier said than done. The NFC has two dangerous teams in the Saints and Rams, and the Bears could use a little help to get through either of the two teams en route to a trip to Atlanta in February.

Next. Bears: Burning questions heading into Week 17. dark

It’s not at all far-fetched, and quite frankly, it might just be one of those gifts that you know you’re going to get, even though your parents keep denying it. Fingers crossed Bears fans, but in February, this might just be a wish come true.
