Chicago Bulls Rumors: 5 teams that could trade for Jabari Parker
By Ryan Heckman
Los Angeles Clippers
Per Hoops Rumors, the Los Angeles Clippers may be active in trying to seek trades that “won’t compromise their 2019 cap space.” In a crowded Western Conference, the Clippers are currently 17-11, good for the fourth spot. As of late, they have gone 5-5 in their last 10 and could be looking for another playmaker to give them a boost.
With Parker, the Clippers would get just what they want. Parker’s deal is a 2-year contract, but next summer includes a team option. If the Clippers decide that their experiment, like the Bulls, also fails, then they can let him go without any commitment beyond this current season.
The Clippers’ current rotation features guys like Marcin Gortat, Montrezl Harrell and Boban Marjanovic, among a couple others whom do not see much playing time. Parker is a different guy than both Gortat and Harrell, for sure, and could give them a different look in the front court.
Depending on what the Clippers are looking for at the deadline, position-wise, I think Parker would be a decent risk to take if you’re Los Angeles.
