Trade Package No. 2

The second potential package the Bulls could offer would include similar guys. The Wizards would get Portis. They would still receive the expiring contracts of both Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday. On top of that, Washington would receive another point guard to go along with a first-round pick.

Ryan Arcidiacono has come on as a solid backup point guard this season, and has even garnered more playing time than fellow backup Cameron Payne. Due to Dunn’s injury, Payne was forced into the starting role. But, head coach Fred Hoiberg quickly learned that Arcidiacono was the better player.

He is a known facilitator who can knock down the three ball very well on a consistent basis and plays with a gritty, physical mentality. If I had my way, he would be a permanent staple from here on out, should a trade not go down.

Of course, if the Bulls hold onto Dunn in this situation, a first-round pick is likely to be sent out. In either of these scenarios, the Bulls win. Depending on what other teams would offer for Wall, the Wizards may end up coming out with their best-case scenario if that indeed means they are committed to moving on from Wall.
