That’s a handful of starters who could be out for the Lions on Thursday, but two in particular are trending towards being out.

Per LionsWire, both Jones and Johnson don’t look like they will suit up against the Bears.

Biggest potential impact: Kerryon Johnson

If Johnson doesn’t play, the Lions lose their best running back. Johnson is an excellent back who can do it all. The problem has been on head coach Matt Patricia and his unwillingness to give Johnson the bulk of the load.

Let’s put it this way: LeGarrette Blount‘s last 21 carries have gone for a total of 16 yards.

The second-biggest impact on the game would come if Slay is unable to go. Other than Slay, the Lions’ corner depth is mediocre at best, and that might be putting it generously.
